THINGS I LIKE ABOUT AUTUMN

Hello world,

It’s October! October is one of my favourite months, mainly because I feel like autumn is really starting to work out in this month. I’m a huge fan of autumn, and I bet most people are actually, so I thought it would be fun if I shared all my favourite aspects of autumn!

1. Wearing cozy clothes all the time. I can finally wear my jogging pants again and sweatshirts and scarfs and all that cool stuff! I love how comfortable I feel like in autumn. If you compare it to summer, it’s so much better because in summer it’s way too hot to wear cozy clothes like that.

2. The smell of wet leaves. I don’t know why I love this so much, but it just makes my day.

3. Hot chocolates are appropriate again. I love me some good hot chocolate! Other hot drinks like cappuccino or tea is a must too.

4. Hearing rain on your roof. Nothing is more comforting than laying in bed and listening to the rain. It makes me fall asleep quicker, which is always a plus.

5. Listening to ‘cozy’ music. I don’t know why, but I always am in the mood for acoustic songs whenever it is autumn. I listen to the pre-made playlist “Acoustic Autumn”  on Spotify and it just is always amazing.

6. Baking anything with apple in it. I love me some good apple pie or just like Zoella made apple crumble cakes, which looked delicious too. Apple (and specifically warm apple) screams autumn.

Soooo, those were my favourite things that I love in Autumn! I made a video when it was a lovely day a couple of weeks ago, so I will share it down here too so you can watch it if you want. I hope I will upload more of these kind of videos soon! Thank you so much for reading and comment down below what you love about autumn, or if you hate it, what you don’t like about autumn! See you next time!

A Day In Autumn //

WHAT I WATCH ON NETFLIX

Hello world,

I live in Europe, where the word ‘summer’ doesn’t actually mean ‘nice sunny weather’. It means that sometimes it will rain, but within a day it can be nice and warm. The weather changes all the time here. And how can I spend those rainy days better than watching Netflix? I love watching that, since there are a million different choices on what to watch. Recently, I have been getting into different shows and I thought, why not share them on here? I myself love reading these kind of posts and I don’t think my list of what I’m watching is as basic like Pretty Little Liars, Gossip Girl, and programs like that. So, let’s get started with this post.

Outlander

Oh my, I love this show! It’s for sure my favourite. Unfortunately, in my country, there is only one season available yet but the second season is already shot and a third and fourth season are coming. It’s about a woman who time travels in Scotland back to the 17th century (or the 18th, I’m not entirely sure) If you like fantasy and time travel and history, this show is perfect for you! It’s also about the Scots and the British war, which I find pretty interesting since I love hearing about history related things.

Jane The Virgin

I have to admit, I only started watching this like, about two weeks ago. But I should also admit that within a week I was at episode 17.* Yes, that is how much I watch that program. It’s hilarious, I love the characters in it. It’s Spanish related, since Jane is a latina and I love that. I can’t stop saying words like, ‘Abuela’ , ‘Mija’ and I’m listening to Spanish songs. If you like drama, funny programs, this one is perfect for you. It has things like murder, pregnancy, relationship drama and I love it. It’s so different to the programs I usually watch, but I think that I will watch more of these series after I finished Jane The Virgin. *Update; I finished season 1 and now I want to cry until season 2 is on Netflix.

The Paradise

This one is kind of hard to explain. Basically, we’re in the 19th century here. ‘The Paradise’   is a shop that is doing very well in that time and it’s a shop for woman who like to spend a lot of money. There are girls and boys who work in the shop and they experience every day something else. One girl in special, Denise falls in love with the owner and (spoiler alert) he falls in love with her too. It’s very interesting to see this story develop, although it is kind of boring from time to time, I still like it a lot. I’m currently on the second season, which is unfortunately also the last season.

Downtown Abbey

Sooo, I have just started this serie and I can’t really give my opinion on it but I did want to include it because I do think I will like it. I’m halfway through the first episode right now.

So these are what I’m currently watching on Netflix! I hope you liked reading this post, because I liked writing it! What are your favourite shows on Netflix? If I don’t reply right away, I’m sorry because I’m on holiday right now, and I don’t know how well my internet will be. This post is prewritten, so that’s why I am uploading something. (:

Hope you’re having a great day!

Love, Dannielle.

MY FAVOURITE YOUTUBERS

Hello world,

Recently, I have been watching so many YouTubers! Some of them are new to me, even though they already make videos for forever now. I thought, why not share them and here I am, sharing my top 5 favourite YouTubers at the moment! I hope you enjoy this blog post!

Hailey Sani (berrypinklips)
Hailey is someone I started watching because of her healthy lifestyle videos. Don’t get me wrong, I love my French fries but I want to get healthier since Summer will arrive very soon. You can read more about that in my “Summer Goals”, you can read it here. Her videos give tips and tricks for starting a healthier life and they get me motivated and inspired to actually do stuff and work out and eat fruits and stuff like that. Her videos look like they are really professional and believe me they are, but they still give this kind of “home” feeling, which I really like. She also travels quite a lot, and she films this too and those videos always look fabulous.

Lauren (LaurDIY)
I had come across at her channel before but I never really started watching them, and I don’t really know why I didn’t watch them earlier, because I love her now! Lauren is so creative and she always has the best quality in her videos. Her ideas are so original and she makes it look like even I can do some of the DIY’s, even though I’m sure that I am so bad at doing DIY’s and making my own stuff. I love her intros, they are so cool!

Gabriella Lindley (velvetgh0st)
I love this girl! She’s one of those British people that I just always come back to. I have watched her for over 2 years now I think, and I still love her videos. She does the best makeup looks and is a huge PLL fan, which she likes to share on her channel as well. Gabbie is really honest on her channel, which I like a lot. Oh, and she also sings amaazing. She does covers every once in a while and her voice is stunning.

Meredith Foster (stilababe09)
This girl is just too cute to not like! I love how inspirational her videos are, she’s so pretty and she puts a lot of effort in her videos. You can tell that she still loves doing YouTube after all those years. Also, she has the cutest dog ever! Mere is also incredibly funny in not only her intros, but she does sketches sometimes and then she plays different roles and those are hilarious. Don’t worry, she likes to do beauty related stuff too.

Eva Gutowksi (mylifeaseva)
Not gonna lie, I wasn’t a fan of her videos but after I watched her Literally My Life music video, I loved her! She is hilarious and just like Meredith she does sketches, which are very funny. I loveeee her intros to her videos, she has the best music choice and is very good at editing. Eva is very confident, and I really like that about her.

These were my favourite YouTubers! Who are your favourite YouTubers? I’d love to know! I always love finding “new” YouTubers so tell me in the comments please! Don’t forget to like and follow my blog if you’d like to! Thank you so much for reading. See you next time!

Love, Dannielle.

JUNE MUSIC FAVOURITES

Hello world,

Here I am, back with my usual monthly music favourites. I honestly can’t believe we’re almost in July, and I know I say this every month, but because of these posts I actually realize how quick time goes. In June, I have been listening to a few songs, and those are mostly the same songs as in May, so I’m sorry about it not being “new” songs. Anyways, we should go on with the actual post so without further due, let’s get started!

All In My Head (Flex) – Fifth Harmony feat Fetty Wap.

Okay first of all, how could I not put this song in? It is such a summer tune and even if you don’t like Fifth Harmony, you most likely are going to love this anyway. I love dancing to this song, and I learned the choreography so I can dance along with Fifth Harmony haha. Also, now that we’re talking about them anyway, guess who is going to their 7/27 Tour? MEEEEE. Ah, I’m so excited!

Into You – Ariana Grande.

I love how this songs changes from the lower register of Ariana’s voice, to the higher register! This is also a dance jam and a holy summer jam. I loveee the music video for this by the way, I love the story that the video tells. The bridge is my fave.

One Dance – Drake.

Usually, I’m not a huge fan of Drake but this song makes me want to jump straight up and start dancing and not care about it at all. Again, a summer song for sure. Guess there is kind of a theme in this music favourites haha.

Treat You Better – Shawn Mendes.

I love Shawn Mendes quite a lot, I don’t want to call me a fan because I don’t know everything he is doing but I really like his music. I loved Handwritten when it first came out and now with Treat You Better, it’s even better! It’s such a cute song and I love the message of it. I really like how the guitar sounds too! It does remind me a bit of Stitches, with the beat and the melody, but I don’t mind.

For the most of the time in June, I have been listening to Fifth Harmony’s album and also some songs of Ariana Grande’s album but I didn’t really want to write down all those songs because I wrote a first impression about 5H’s album already so I don’t want to be repetitive.

Anyway, thank you so much for reading and don’t forget to like and follow if you want to! Comment down below which songs you have been loving through June, I would love to read that and reply to you of course. See you next time!

Love, Dannielle.

March Music Favourites

Hello world,

Oh my, is it almost April?! Does that mean my exams are coming up?! Why does the month go by so quickly? Anyways, today it’s time for another music favourites! I do these every month, and if you would like to read the earlier posts I posted, I will link my January music favourites here and my February music favourites here!

Rock Bottom – Hailee Steinfeld feat. DNCE. In one of my earlier music favourites, I think I already had the “normal” Rock Bottom in my list. Hailee has brought out a new version with the group DNCE, and I prefer this version over the one where Hailee sings alone. I love thisss!

Dangerous Woman – Ariana Grande.
Everyone probably heard this song. If you have been following me for a while, you would know that I love a good Ariana Grande song. By the way, the acappella version is amazing.

Be Alright – Ariana Grande.
Again, AG. This one is very different from Dangerous Woman, though. I would say this is more of a indie uptempo song, and Dangerous Woman is for sure a ballad kind of style.

Trndsttr (Lucian Remix) – Black Coast feat. M. Maggie.
If you are quite familiar with the YouTube world, you probably know this song. The sounds wants me to make bodyrolls lol.

Faded – Alan Walker. This is very different to what I normally listen to, I don’t really listen to a lot of indie kind of music. BUT, I really enjoy this song anyway. 🙂

The Life – Fifth Harmony. Well, obviously this is in my favourites. I love love love Fifth Harmony, and I love love love this song as well. I don’t prefer it over Work From Home.

Catch & Release (deepend remix) – Matt Simons. I love modern dancing to this, and I also love the message. Sometimes we just gotta release our emotions, and this song makes me want to do it. It makes feel really relaxed. 🙂

Sooo, these were my favourites of March! Seriously, these months go by so quick! I hope you enjoyed reading these kind of posts because I really like doing them! What are your favourite songs of March?

Love, Dannielle.

February Music Favourites

Hello world,

It’s almost the last day of February, where are the days? It went by so quick! I love my music so I decided to share my faves of this month again! If you want to read last months favourites, click here.

Dernière Danse – Indila. This is a French song and I don’t actually understand what she is saying but it sounds beautiful. I really like the beat of this song and Indila sings amazing!

Cheap Thrills – Sia. I LOVE SIA. I think she is amazing and has a great voice and from her new album, this is my favourite.

Love On Top – Beyonce. I recently started listening to Beyonce and I am obsessed with her atm. Love On Top is my favourite song of her this month, but I also have been quite obsessed with Formation.

We Don’t Talk Anymore – Charlie Puth feat Selena Gomez. Last month I listened quite a lot to Selena’s album ‘Revival’ and when I heard Charlie Puth had a collab with Selena I was so excited! I love this song!

Youth – Troye Sivan. I have been following Troye Sivan for quite a while now and when I heard this song playing in a store I obviously knew it was Troye Sivan and I noticed it was ‘Youth’. This is definetly my fave song from his album, but the others are real good too.

Bang My Head – Sia & Fetty Wap. Again, Sia. And I have to admit, Fetty Wap is my guilty pleasure, I love to jam out to this song with his kind of voice. This is also such a fun song to dance to!

Fine By Me – Andy Grammar. This is such a cute song, and probably the slowest of all songs I have listed here, but it’s really good. Andy Grammar is known for Good To Be A Live and Honey I’m Good, but I think this song is better than the ones he’s known for.

Work From Home – Fifth Harmony (ft. Ty Dolla Sign). As a Harmonizer, I am obsessed with Fifth Harmony and I couldn’t wait when I heard they had a single coming out. I am constantly listening to it because it has such an amazing beat, rythm and melody. I just want to dance all day to it and I can’t stop listening! I can’t wait for their album 7/27 that is coming out on the 20th of May. Slay me.

I hope you enjoyed this list of my favourite songs this month, and don’t forget to share your favourites in the comments below. LOVE YOU.

Love, Dannielle.
